Randall Pratt, J.D. is a founder and managing partner at Life Science Legal LLC.

Mr. Pratt is a corporate attorney, with more than 35 years of experience, specializing in business transactions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, laboratory, animal health, food and other life science and technology companies. He has significant experience in serving the general corporate counsel needs of clients. His clients range in size from large, established pharmaceutical companies to small, emerging biotechnology companies.

Previously he was a partner with Shook, Hardy & Bacon (Kansas City's largest law firm). During his 12 years there, he established the firm's international corporate and commercial practice in London, England and later chaired the firm's international business practice at its headquarters in Kansas City.

Randall has extensive experience in licensing and technology transfers; research and development agreements; material transfer and supply chain agreements; commercial transactions and agreements; mergers, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures; corporate partnering, strategic alliance and joint venture transactions; and corporate formation and governance matters.
 
Mr. Pratt is a graduate of University of Missouri School of Law in 1988.
